The country of origin for the certificate doesn't need to be Turkey. Proof of business activity in Turkey is required unless a trademark is issued directly by the Turkish Patent Institute or a company located in Turkey.

For Turkish Companies: Turkish Trademark or Business Registration matching domain name and TAX ID Certificate.

If you do not have the Requirements to meet the .com.tr registration, you may purchase the trustee service which provides the required local contact information.

A Trademark or Business Registration matching the domain name is required for the trustee service.

Note: Registration for 2 years may also be required.

Any Individual or company can register the .COM.TR domain extension.

The minimum registration period for .com.tr domain names is 1 year

The domain registration time frame for  .com.tr during general availability is 3 weeks.

It is required to have the domain name renewed before it expires. Once the domain expires, it will be in Renewal Grace Period for 0-60 days when the domain name can only be renewed but not transferred to another registrar, At the end of the 60-day period, the domain name will be available to the general public for re-registration on “First come First serve basis”.

Domain names must:

• have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 63 characters
• begin with a letter or a number and end with a letter or a number

NIC TR is the registry authorized to operate the .com.tr domain extension.

The maximum period for this domain registration is 5 Years.
